STRATEGIC PLANS & INFORMATION
Strategic Plan
The school has its own Strategic Plan, which is the foundation document for the school’s management and direction. Much of the Strategic Plan is common to all schools throughout the country, but there are sections which reflect the goals and aspirations of our own community and staff.
The Board of Trustees writes and regularly reviews policies which give clear direction on how the Strategic Plan is implemented within the school. These policies are the heart of the governance responsibility of the Board.
The Board delegates the responsibility of implementing these policies to the Principal and staff, and the principal oversees the day to day management of the school. Any person may ask at the office to see any school policy, and talk with the Principal or Board member about it.
Policies cover such things as financial management, school discipline, staff appointments, property maintenance, curriculum delivery, and so on.
